Wellness is defined by Freeman et al. (2017)is a state of being aware and active in
processing choices that promote a healthy fulfilling life or being completely active in both
physical, social and mental well-being with no mere infirmity or disease impacts. Using the four
education lenses to expound on the mental issue, history allows one to think of the issue from the
original traces and establish its primary cause, in humanities it allows one to critically examine
of its impact to the human relation like interactions when one party is ailing from mental health
disorders (Doyle et al., 2018). Moreover, using the lens of applied science in relation to this
issue, the scientist is allowed to chip in new existing scientific knowledge on establishing more
modified technological inventions to help curb the problem of mental health (Crawfordet al.,
2015). Opening the boundaries to the social science lens, scientists are allowed to examine the
societal effects and how certain societal factors influence the growth of mental health issues.
This paper, therefore, seeks to draw its focus on mental health as an issue to wellness
based on the fitness into this framework, the perceptions, and attitudes attached to mental health,
wellness, and society. However, the impacts of the four lenses in relation to the mental issues
will be provided.

How mental health issue has or has not influenced modern society.
Understanding the illustrative part of this section is robust in ways that it deepens into the
modern culture surrounding the patient, the clinician and the working specialty of the clinician
(Knaak et al., 2015). The issue has increased social isolation to modern society generation
(Jennings & Slavin, 2015).The modern society according to Freeman et al. (2017) has been
viewed as a tool of compartmentalizing society members rather than increasing their
cohesiveness. Depression has also emerged as a result of the influences of mental health to


modern society (Maeda et al., 2016). An increased negative emotions from the isolation forces as
preceded earlier increases obsession among many societal members.
Lens Connection

Mental health and history settings at the institution are connected by drawing strength
from the cultural diversity that exists at the organization. The influence of mental health on the
historical setting of an institution has suffused the organization's departments (Eckert et al.,
2017). Employees’ mental health problems are established on limited or insufficient awareness
of cultural issues among the institution’s personnel resulting in the employees’ mental health
challenges which correlate to the poor coordination and solidarity among such personnel towards
achieving the organization’s common goal.
Determining the impacts of the mental health issues to an institution based on the
humanities requires key monitoring of human flourishing to provide a critique of the impacts of
the issue on institution personnel’s’ wellness (Doyle et al., 2018). An institution with frequently
diagnosed personnel is obliged to the hiring psychiatrists or counselors to monitor and provide
therapeutic work on the psychological well-being of institution personnel. According to the
research, depression is has been linked to more than 300 million people causing severe death of
youths of up to 20 years most of whom fail to receive mental counseling due to work
commitments (Crawfordet al., 2015)
Shifting our focus into the lens of natural and applied sciences, institutions that apply
scientific innovations in reducing mental health challenges have opened new frontiers through
data collection and mental health support systems which increases the understanding and
monitoring of mental wellbeing of its personnel (Rosen Bjornsen-Ramig & Kissinger, 2019).


The increased knowledge has also increased burst on the development of apps which expands
efforts on mental research and treatment in the mobile world.
Through the government policies and interventions of integrating social and mental
health care services, institutions have radically established researches on the influence of social
inequalities and job decision latitudes on the mental health of the different institutional
workforce (Jennings & Slavin, 2015).. This provides opportunities for career development in
ensuring the wellbeing of the mental health of these employees.
