Sample Annotated Bibliography Paper on a World of Religions

Abstract

This paper is about the diversity of religions in the present world. Christianity is the most widespread religion, followed by Islam. The objective of the study is to examine the diversity and influence of the present religions in the society. The study is highlighting the impact of religion in the life of a human being (Wayne, 2015; Dubuisson, 2003). The history of these religions is further highlighted in relation to the impact felt in the society (Hastings, 2000). In the literature review, the background of religions is critically analyzed. The study goes through the collected knowledge acquired by scientists. The study highlights limitations of previous studies in relation to the subject. One of the limitations faced by previous researchers is the creation of more religions. This makes it difficult to realize the impact of these religions (Niss & Gnagaard, 2011). The methodology comprises the data collection techniques, number of participants, criteria of choosing participants, and the demographic features of the participants. The main data collection technique is the use of secondary sources. This will comprise books, articles, journals, and digital sources. From these sources, previous information concerning the history and the background of these religions is reviewed. The researchers also analyze limitations of previous research, and opportunities for more studies. Primary data collection techniques, such as interviews and surveys are employed. This will help capture the impact of religions in the lives of the present population. Interviews comprise the use of questionnaires, and one on one interviews. The findings of the research are clearly outlined. Statistical data analysis is employed in the analysis of data. There is discussion and the analysis of the results. This is in relation to the hypothesis and the objectives of the study. Recommendations are made to encourage more studies on the given field as more religions are presently being created.
