Topic 1

1. I am a highly esteemed and motivated person who enjoys life.
2. I am forced to plan for my future from time to time due to scepticisms and uncertainties that surround the outcomes in society and our lives.
3. I am good in working under pressure, and I can deliver work that is uncompromised in terms of quality. I, nevertheless, at times feel downcast and cannot attend classes as well as engage in any active physical activity.
4. I am good in sports and enjoy jogging early in the morning, going to the gym, and participating in field activities such as soccer, basketball, and softball.
5. I am normally active during the night hours and I can be very productive.
6. I am excellent in time keeping and management, and deliver all my assignments and projects on time, including any other related work (Kassin, Fein & Markus, p. 49).
7. I am good in critical thinking and can produce written work that gives deep and extensive insight into a particular subject area. (Kassin, Fein & Markus, p. 57)
8. I am good at cooking and at times during breakfast and supper, I prepare my own meals.
9. I am also good at repairing electronic products, and at times take up part-time work at a repair shop downtown.
10. I am not good in waking up early in the morning, and sometimes I miss the classes that start early in the morning.
11. I am good in social work, and hence participate in charity activities – particularly under the Red-Cross Club.
12. I am good in organizational skills, and have been entrusted with leadership positions in various clubs.
13. I am good in consultancy and outsourcing work; I do take jobs on the internet and work on them for various clients.
14. I am a clean person, as evident in my expenditure of weekends tiding up my room and washing my clothes.
15. I am also good in community work, and spend my free time cleaning up the environment and educating people on good healthcare (Kassin, Fein & Markus, p. 95).
16. I am excellent in freelance work and participate in various online platforms.
17. I am a burgeoning coder and enjoy programming mobile applications during my free time.
18. I am good at reading. My good reading habits are evident in my enjoyment in reading books, magazines, journals, newspapers, and other publications when I am free.
19. I am good in surfing the internet and I log in online regularly to search for information, facts, and knowledge.
20. I am normally not comfortable with utterances of ethnic stereotypes which at times make me feel guilty.

Topic 2

Most of the times, I will snap when I see people of African-American and Latino descent. Such people are normally associated with crime. I remember recently when I saw a black man passed me outside a hotel after my Valentine’s Day date and I jumped into the arms of my partner and held his hand closely. He was tattooed all over his face and you could think he was a gang member. Later, I realised that I had lost my purse after getting into contact with him. He had golden “grillz” on his teeth which made him look insane and devilish. I normally freak off at racial stereotypes (Kassin, Fein & Markus, p.75).
