Sample Religious studies Assignment on The Leader’s Schedule Assignment Instructions

Student’s Log: The Leader’s Schedule Assignment Instructions

Overview

Building a strategic plan is time-consuming but essential to successful leadership; therefore, management of one’s time is critical. Part of stewardship is giving the Lord one’s time as well as treasure and talent. Taking control of one’s time and schedule is the single-most weakness of unsuccessful leaders, making “prioritizing” an essential step as the leader plans his daily activities. Beyond prioritizing, however, is the discipline to commit to the priorities, which is why our authors have determined that no one should determine a leader’s schedule but the leader himself.

Instructions

Following the assigned reading in the previous module (especially Blackaby, Spiritual Leadership, Chapter 9) and the video presentation, reflect on why no one should determine a leader’s schedule but the leader him/herself. Items to include are outlined as follows:

  • Write a minimum of 300 words.
  • As this is a personal student’s log entry, first-person is preferred.
  • Incorporate at least one (1) biblical integration.
  • If scholarly sources are included, use the Turabian format for footnotes.
