Then, place yourself in the role of a management consultant and use the Job Characteristics Model to analyze and redesign this job to increase its motivational potential. Address each of the following in your final report:

  1. First, describe the job. In your response, address job title, the job duties/ expectations, the job rewards/compensation, and who you worked with to carry out your job duties. (3 points)
  2. Assess your job using the Job Characteristics model. For this question: first, evaluate your job based on the five-core job characteristics; second, discuss how the characteristics of your job affected the critical psychological states and job outcomes. (21points)
  3. Finally, based on your knowledge of the organization and the job, discuss how you could redesign the job and address any pertinent contextual factors to improve its motivational potential (15 points).
