Just a few pointers towards the project for this course. You’ll notice that it said, “Develop and create an introduction of the business you will be using for the duration of the Program Portfolio Project”. So, while the Capstone Project will be a Portfolio Business Organization description, the focus of the project for this course will be on your introduction or overview of the Business that you will use for the duration of the program.
Focus on the business writing and communication techniques, so be mindful of your format, writing style, writing in the third person rather than using “I”, uniformed fonts, appropriate paragraphing and subheadings for the different sections etc. While you are not expected to be submitting a detailed business plan now with marketing plans, financial details or operational plans, please feel free to do that if you are comfortable with it.
As you progress through different courses, the focus of the respective projects will be according to the course itself, for example, the Marketing Management project will be focusing on the marketing aspect of your business plan. At the end of the program, you will be putting everything together.
Please remember to cite your sources by ensuring that your submissions have the relevant references in order to maintain academic integrity.
