As the world’s largest luxury goods market, China has a large number of second-hand goods that have not been properly allocated, and the market needs but lacks reliable platforms for trading second-hand luxury goods. Compared with other developed countries, such as the United States, which has mature large-scale second-hand luxury trading websites and stores (ie: The Real Real), this paper should analyze the future possibilities and probable obstacles of China’s second-hand luxury good market, the potential for sustainable development and the competitiveness in the world.
