Case assignment scenario: You are a consultant. You have been
chosen to present a paper on professional communication covering a
company of your choice. Acting in this consultant capacity, you are to
write a detailed analysis of the professional communication
shortcomings and strong points in the company you have chosen,
then formulate a plan outlining the steps you recommend (like training
or education) to improve in areas you identify.
In addition to the 5-8 page paper, prepare a bulleted outline of the
points you would address in the presentation add you’re bulleted
outline at the end of the paper as an Appendix (this goes after your
reference section). The best practice is to use this outline to write the
paper.
Areas to address should include topics covered in the first 4 modules
of the course and must relate to professional communication.
Writing Guidelines:
Must be between 5 – 8 pages in length (cover page, appendix,
and the reference page are not included in the page count
Use at least 4 but no more than 7 references
At least 2 references must come from a scholarly journal article
(use the TUW library databases)
Essays should be in APA style [apastyle.org] and include
Running head and pagination
Must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and no

12-point Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial
The pape should be proofread for spelling and grammar mistakes
You must cite all texts used, including page numbers in your in-text citations to avoid plagiarism
Your paper must be supported by background literature
