Jesus Christ is the sinless, ever-existing son of God. According to the book of Matthew (1.21), Jesus means ‘God saves’. The Bible attributes this phenomenon that Jesus is God. He is the Human form of God ,that came to earth to perform miracles, teach people about God and spread the Gospel of good news. Therefore, God seeks to reconcile mankind back to himself again through His only son.1st John (3.16) says that God loved the world that he gave his only Son, Jesus Christ, so that whoever believe in Him should not perish but have an everlasting life.
Jesus Christ came to into the world to save sinners. His mission was to guide, show the believers the better path of truth and to redeem the humanity from the earthly deeds that alienate them from the God’s teachings. He volunteered to be the savior of the world, gave revelation to the prophets and delivered the truth in the world of false beliefs. In addition, Christ’s mission was to change the way of our thinking. He had an immense love to suffer crucifixion and bear the sins of the mankind (France 9-35). In conclusion, He is the guide and path to follow to obtain glory in the eternal life.
